{"id":3514,"date":"2026-02-16T21:13:16","date_gmt":"2026-02-16T19:13:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edra.libra.softwebpages.com\/programm\/acade_me\/"},"modified":"2026-05-28T23:38:48","modified_gmt":"2026-05-28T20:38:48","slug":"acade_me","status":"publish","type":"programm","link":"https:\/\/edra.org.gr\/en\/programm\/acade_me\/","title":{"rendered":"ACADE_ME"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ACADE-ME is a European project aimed at the active participation of Roma communities, promoting positive change through training programmes, awareness-raising activities and the creation of educational and informational resources.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Target Groups of the Project:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Highlighting the impact of anti-Gypsyism on education and access to relevant data.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To develop tools to combat discrimination against Roma students and empower teachers and professionals.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To support Roma students, graduates and women with an academic background as ambassadors for positive change.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creation of a library of positive narratives from 60 Roma graduates, mainly women.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Raising awareness of the importance of education for Roma youth in social inclusion.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Project objectives:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><b>ACADE_ME<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> project aims to address the ongoing failure of the Roma social inclusion process, with a focus on education, awareness-raising and the promotion of positive role models as a means of combating anti-Gypsyism and discrimination against Roma.
