The N.E.F.E.L.E – Networking European Festivals for Mental Life Enhancement project aimed to strengthen cooperation between European organisations that use art and festivals as tools to promote mental health and social inclusion.
As part of the project, the 1st European Festival of Art and Mental Health was organised in October 2016 in Athens, bringing together organisations, mental health professionals, artists and civil society organisations.
This initiative laid the foundations for the creation of a European network of organisations that organise festivals and cultural events focusing on mental health across Europe, strengthening cooperation, the exchange of good practices and the visibility of art as a tool for psychosocial support.
Project Partners
The project was implemented by a consortium of European organisations, coordinated by K.S.D.E.O. EDRA (Greece).
